Manila Ocean Park Blasts!

2011 has been good year to me because I received bunch of blessings, and now a year has to end and welcome 2012.

January 1, 2012 is the best blessings I received, I would like to say thank you first to my brother Jessie Villanueva for treating us in Manila Ocean Park and 2 days stay-in at H2O Hotel. After attending a 1st mass of the year at Springville Camella Chapel in Molino, Cavite, we took a light lunch and we arrived in Manila Ocean Park at 12 noon. Since it is a regular holiday we expect it to be crowded, it took an hour for us to get accommodated so we decided to kill our time by touring around the Mall so we went to the Souvenir Shop and me and my twin sister decided to fall in line to buy the ticket for our Ocean Park trip. It was 2:00 pm when we get check-in to our rooms.

My brother availed two (2) rooms, Park View (original rate of the day Php 7,320.00 net) this where me, my twin sister Kristel and family of my eldest brother; Jay and sister Leah with their son Andrei stayed in because it has two (2) beds, more space and you will enjoy the view of Manila Ocean Park but the management strictly prohibited the opening of curtains, we don’t know the reason why but for me as a guest it should be allowed to open it to enjoy more the view.

The other room called Aqua room (original rate of the day Php 9,760.00 net) this where my parents, my Brother Jessie and my sister Jane with her daughter stayed in. We all loved this room (mostly my niece Jona and my nephew Andrei) because there is a huge Aquarium with different fishes. One thing awkward in this room is the bathroom which filled with glass, I guess it is best room for couples only but overall I like the design of the room and the huge bed which fits 5 people.

My brother Jessie availed ticket the Holiday’s Coolest Promo Special (Oceanarium original price worth Php 400.00 and Penguin Exhibit original price Php 300.00) which Php 600.00 each no exemption for the kids.

We start our trip first to Manila Ocean Park’s latest attraction, The Snow Village, we experience the real snow and we feel that we really in the land of Antarctica, the staff warned us that taking a picture inside may cause camera damage but still we let out our camera’s and we do enjoy the snow, you don't need to bring your own jacket because they will provide it already, my fault here is I wear sandals that I stay for a short time so better wear shoes and there are some parts that are slippery so be careful. Had fun in Slide O Fun though the line is too long we still wait to experience the slide an it all worth it, Trails to Antarctica: The Penguin Quest to meet those adorable penguins, they are so cute.

We took a break and have dinner outside and dropped by at Luneta Park. It’s my first time to see the monument of Philippines’s National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. It was an amazing experience because I see bunch of people staying in park with their families and I never seen a crowded like this, I miss those street foods like Balot Penoy, Cotton Candy, Sorbetes, Mangga and the famous Grilled Dried Squid. Since Oceanarium opened ‘till 9:00pm only, we decided to go back at Ocean Park and invades Oceanarium.

In Oceanarium you will see different kinds of fishes, one thing I like here is the aquarium tunnel, and I feel like I was in under the sea. We saw a huge fish that my niece and nephew enjoy a lot.

On the 2nd day of staying in hotel, we take a tour inside of the hotel and take some pictures, there is H20 Club, I really like the design of it from interior to couch and everything this place is good for any business meeting or if you want to be alone. Our check-out time is 2:00pm and we got a chance to see the Liquid Pool of the hotel wherein you'll see the Sea lion Show and Dancing Fountain

Wish we could go back here again. This is the best bonding I have with my family.

Manila Ocean Park is the best tourist spot here in Philippines!
